To Our Valued Customers:
After thoroughly reviewing OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), Merit Brass Company has determined that our product is not applicable to the intent of the safety data sheet (SDS). We are not a chemical manufacturer and do not distribute hazardous chemicals. SDS is designed to communicate information for potentially hazardous chemicals. There are not immediate hazards for users when Merit Brass products are utilized for their intended purposes.
Please discard any existing MSDS sheets that have been provided in the past. As Merit Brass does not produce or distribute any hazardous chemicals, our products are not required to have a SDS and are not covered by the HCS for compliance with the Federal regulation.
